Description
These frozen chicken wings in air fryer are extra crispy on the outside and juicy inside with zero need to defrost. A fast, foolproof recipe that delivers deep-fried texture in under 25 minutes.
Ingredients
2 pounds frozen chicken wings
1 tablespoon light olive oil or avocado oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For Honey Buffalo Sauce (optional):
1/4 cup buffalo wing sauce (e.g. Frank’s RedHot)
2 tablespoons melted unsalted butter
2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
1. Place frozen chicken wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F for 9–10 minutes to defrost.
2. Remove wings and drain the liquid from the basket.
3. Toss wings with oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well coated.
4. Return wings to the air fryer and cook at 400°F for another 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
5. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F.
6. If desired, toss cooked wings with prepared honey buffalo sauce.
7. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing and vegetable sticks.

You can use any brand of frozen chicken wings like Tyson or Kirkland.
Substitute honey with maple syrup or agave if needed.
